Waiver

• I understand and agree that, as a volunteer for the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl by Gator Bowl Sports, Inc. (“Gator Bowl Sports”), I am expected to volunteer on all days indicated and I am responsible for all of my own costs incurred for transportation, housing, personal entertainment, and/or any other costs arising from volunteering except if explicitly requested in writing by Gator Bowl Sports.
• I understand, acknowledge, and agree that: (i) I am strictly a volunteer, not an employee, contractor, or other agent or representative of Gator Bowl Sports; (ii) I volunteer freely and without any pressure or coercion, direct or implied, from Gator Bowl Sports; and (iii) there has been no promise of, nor do I have an expectation of, receiving any compensation or benefit of any kind for the volunteer activities I provide.
• I grant Gator Bowl Sports permission to use my likeness, voice, and words in television, radio, film, and/or any other form to promote activities of the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl and related activities.
• I agree to and do hereby knowingly, voluntarily, and freely assume any and all risks, hazards, and dangers incident to the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl event and all related activities, including without limitation the risk of personal injury (including permanent injury and disability), death, the risk of exposure to infectious diseases, communicable diseases, viruses, bacteria, sickness, or illnesses, or the causes thereof (including without limitation COVID-19 and its variants), and any lost, stolen, or damaged property, whether occurring before, during, or after the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl event or any related events, however or wherever caused, and hereby waive all claims, potential claims, and damages related to such risks, hazards, and dangers. I ALSO HEREBY RELEASE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE GATOR BOWL SPORTS (AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS) FROM ANY AND ALL ACTIONS, CLAIMS, LIABILITY, OR DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION BODILY INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, CAUSED BY, ARISING FROM, OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED TO GATOR BOWL SPORTS OR THE TAXSLAYER GATOR BOWL OR RELATED ACTIVITIES. This release of liability shall not apply where the foregoing is caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Gator Bowl Sports.
• In the event that I am unable to volunteer on my own because of injury or illness sustained while working in volunteer capacity, I consent to administration of first aid and/or medical treatment if offered or provided to me. I understand and agree that if I refuse first aid and/or medical treatment reasonably offered to me, I may be asked to discontinue any further volunteer activities for Gator Bowl Sports until I seek appropriate first aid and/or medical treatment.
• I will not attend my volunteer shift if I may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and I have not yet been cleared as non-contagious by state or local public health authorities or the health care team responsible for my treatment. I will also not attend my volunteer shift if I am experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms, including but not limited to fever, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, chills, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea.
• I agree to follow and fully participate in the safety protocols that have been implemented by Gator Bowl Sports and that will be provided for my review prior to volunteering.
• I further agree to abide by all other regulations and requirements for participation as a volunteer at the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl event and all related activities, and I hereby certify that all information contained on this form or otherwise provided by me to Gator Bowl Sports is true to the best of my knowledge.
• I have carefully read and fully understand the content of this TaxSlayer Gator Bowl Volunteer Waiver (“Waiver”). I am aware that this Waiver constitutes a release of liability and a contract between Gator Bowl Sports and me. An electronic or facsimile copy or photocopy of this Waiver shall be as valid as the original. If emailed, a copy of this document with my e-mail address will constitute my acceptance and will have the same legal ramifications as my handwritten signature. This Waiver shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of my legal guardians, personal representatives, family members, agents, heirs, successors, and assigns.
